Samsung may still be the world's largest smartphone vendor but the South Korean company is struggling to make an impact in the important Chinese market. The smartphone market in China is currently dominated by domestic brands, with Apple also managing a small slice of the pie. It has been reported that Samsung's share dropped to 0.8% in the fourth quarter of 2017, putting the company in 12th position for that particular market.
