I just purchased the NUC and I got Forza Horizon 4 to work. I would rerun your test again and try my method.

Do NOT use Intel's drivers. use DDU to clear it and install AMD's graphic drivers directly from their site. Mine successfully installed with no issue. Once your have AMD's drivers, Forza Horizon WILL START. The game has issues seeing that Intel/AMD driver mix.

I benched the game at 1080P and at 1440P High settings:

1080P: 68 FPS (target 144 FPS) - MSI Optix 24inch Freesync
1440P: 59 FPS (target 72 FPS) - Samsung SH850 1440P Freesync

Excellent review !
I have only one question :
wchich DDR 4 memory is the best
for Hades Canyon ?
Low lattency,
like Kingstone HyperX 2400 CL 14
or high in MHz
like Kingstone HyperX 3200 CL 20 ?
Thank you !

Great review. it was thorough and I'm sure took a long time to put together. Thanks for the effort. I am looking forward to testing mine as soon as I get it. People keep mentioning the price and i would just suggest that if you were to build a mini itx system with an i7, z370, board and a gtx 1060 you would be right at 900-950 as well for the smallest mini itx you could get. maybe the MSI trident would be a comparable product.

Fast as Hell. Hades himself would own one of these if he wanted a mini PC for gaming. The unlocked NUC rivals a GTX 1060 laptop in raw graphics horsepower while having the CPU performance of a stock Core i7-7700K - all in an integrated chipset under a vapor chamber cooler.
