Isn't "CON5182" just behind the WiFi module the connector for SATA?

orange_cat, yeap, but, as I know there is a way to make it happen through the bios, right? Or, do you mean it's not changeable?

I think the integrated graphics memory size 256 MB is incorrect, to work correctly you need to set integrated graphics memory size to 2 GB or at least 512 MB for some games to work, 256 MB gpu memory is for Warcraft III or Windows 2000 era.

Do I understand correctly, there is a spare 2,5" HDD slot, but you cannot put a HDD into it, due to missing connector?!

@Harker Don't hope to Lenovo very much. They've confirmed that its IP720 Ryzen will run on single channel & it will affect the memory bandwith of the Vega.

@Magistar there are no RAM modules at all, the memory is on-board.

Why would the amount of memory modules have anything to do with bandwidth? The memory used is in dual channel configuration running at 2400 MHz (no matter how many PCBs it's soldered to).

The SF315-41 just appeared on sale here. It is configured with 256 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD (review said there were no hdd models, apparently there are). However according to acer there is only a single 8 GB ram module. This means both the cpu and vega are memory bandwidth starved. Was the laptop in your review also equipped with only a single memory module?

Another outstanding review.  I had been eagerly waiting for the Acer Swift 3 Ryzen release since it's announcement.  I had faith Acer would produce a proper implementation of a Ryzen laptop. Unfortunately, this is another half-hearted attempt by a major manufacturer. HP has failed, Acer has failed ... Lenovo may be our only hope (Come On Dell!!).

The Boys are back in town. The mobile version of the Ryzen is here. Is this the first time that AMD is eye to eye with Intel? Overall, the answer is a definite yes, although Acer should not have cut corners with the SSD.
