Other part: "This has a good chance of continuing to further the increasingly prominent trend of corporations and professional institutions pushing the needlessly 'hip' and 'trendy' and 'oh-so-relatable' front."
Personally don't mind lack of 3.5, but if something that major could be picked up, something as easily-achievable as polluting advertising descriptors with crippled 'oh man no effort, lol' newspeak is bound to spread, especially when given the acknowledgement through an article.

I agree! Some manufacturers have gone overboard trying to think of how to make their product colours sound better than everyone else's.
