It seems the image of the backlight bleeding in this review and in the review of Toshiba x30 are swapped.

Umm.. This is not the new HP Omen 17 (2017). It's just the 2016 chassy with updated specs. As i understand, the new Omen 17 (2017) model will be available end of this month!´.

I hope you will pass this important and valuable deficiency information on to hp directly. You guys have a great reputation at notebookcheck.net and therefore I am sure they will take corrective action. Thanks for making us make the best possible choice in buying.

Wasted opportunities. This year's Omen 17 update brings us a Pascal GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and a powerful Kaby Lake CPU. Our review is going to reveal whether or not we can recommend the Omen 17 despite some drawbacks.
