Evaluating this card for gaming is essentially irrelevant. It's not targeting the gaming community. It's an excellent entry level card (given its pricing) for graphics designers and mass-iterative parallel processing of all sorts, a real solution for SOHO and startups.

Although the AMD Vega Frontier Edition is slower than the average GTX 1080, its performance in professional applications is still the one to beat.
