Again... LAN, HDMI, USBs - all the major connections, which protrude and stick out a lot when in use, are on the right side?! Serious? Why? C'mon, why can't you just switch sides for major/sticking out connections to be on the left, and exhaust on the right side?
Touchpad is only alternative to a mouse when you can't use or don't have one nearby, and a mouse is primary pointing device anyway. And it is used on the...right side mostly, so sticking out wires/devices interfere and disturb operation with mouse.

Is there a file with colour calibration for the FullHD screen?

I agree with dthrp about how a strong display performance ought to be considered a given on such a high-end notebook. However, "weak" is a bit of a strong term to describe it (even if it is below that of the WQHD model), so I removed it from the Pro/Con wording.

Of course, the scoring reflects the mathematical values and not my interpretation of them, so nothing there has changed.

Thanks for the feedback as always!

@Andrew:
T470s is a is a premium laptop designed for professional use, so that's a fairly reasonable statement. After all, given certain level of brightness and color gamut, the contrast ratio is probably the only thing that could strikingly enhance an IPS screen any further. Hence why Macbook, Surface, XPS, and Vaio, the most premium batch of laptops today, particularly share a very high contrast as something in common. Thinkpads are just as expensive, if not even. So you see why it's a real shame, that the best IPS display on them barely stacks up against an average of the aforementioned bunch.

1132:1 is "weak contrast"? Really?

88% seems incredibly high for something so slow and with such a poor screen when considering performance / price. This is actually way slower than my 2012 T530. I don't get it.

Serious business. Today we evaluate another T470s configuration; this one features an FHD anti-glare touchscreen and a somewhat more mainstream setup than our previous candidate—with a lower price to match. Find out how well it stacks up against the competition in our full review.
