Very helpful review.
Tremendous insight and explanation.
I bought the Spin 5 with the i57200 processor and 256 gb solid state drive.
Very happy with the purchase.

No you can not install a pcie-nvme based M.2 in the laptop. It really would not be worth it a sata 3 ssd is going to be plenty fast and honestly you would see little difference if any . IN a different type of laptop you will see a difference such as a gaming laptop but the M.2 sata 3 ssd vs nvme will be very similar in start up time. I say this because I use an MSI GT73VR w nvme and have compared it to starting the unit with a sata 3 M.2, not much difference but for video editing I see a difference in offload

Is it possible to install a NVME drive in place of the SATA that comes with the notebook?

Spinning. All big manufacturers offer devices in the competitive mainstream convertible segment. Acer wants to attract customers with the Acer Spin 5. How does the 360 degree convertible perform?
