This review sucks a** with a straw.

They specifily put that for bass, god knows what kind of magic mushrooms these guys are taking considering they reviewed in dept wrong unit.

I bought this exact laptop for $600 and it does lack bass. It's not loud at all.
Came back to this because the mobo died and I wanted to know if it had a 1060 version.

Terrible computer. Loud fan noises, high temperature, keyboard button doesn't work, throttling and lagging and I barely used it to play any games. exchanged it twice and still the same. 10/10 do not recommend!!!!

I recieved my DELL today. Out of the box, it ran slow and the HD made noise like someone scratching sandpaper and beeps and whistels? I called support, they troubleshoot and put in updated BIOS, got better but not much. It is slower than my 4 yr old desktop at opening applications and software, NOT IMPRESSED- I just called DELL back and asked for a new unit with this one being returned they agreed. I pray the new one is better than this 'NEW ONE"

My experience with my Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Computer has been great so far. The system runs smoothly for both surfing the web and game play.

Ours has bricked four times since buying it for no reason. Each time it'd come back to life within a few days but now it'd been dead for two weeks. On hold with Dell support. All our other computers are from Apple and this is a good reminder why but my daughter wanted a computer with a good video card and a MBP with a good card costs 3x as much (though it turns on and, if it doesn't, Apple promptly helps).

After 15 days I have been getting used to the Ips screen, after the first few days hit ... I regulated the bluish tone in the kelvin panel of win 10, (I use the night system all day lowering a few degrees). But even so the brightness I use at 50% at night and 70% of the day, without touching the intel graphics configuration, it works well but even so Dell could have compensated with a panel with more color,

Dell's great disappointment ... although they changed the panel to an Ips ... the panel is still bad ... they are stupid in Dell ... now it's IPS but with a bluish tone and too bright with rgb very bad ... they changed the screen but the driver is horrible ... "just sive to play and nothing else", for that you buy for the same price a PS4 with a 55 inch led.

- my hair falls out thinking that Dell has in other low-end laptop better screens, that this ..
.
- I tried to calibrate the screen but I lose a lot of color when doing it

- everything else is perfect, silent, not heated, fast, solid, powerful, good design

@Pegade:
Don't invest in features that are "nice to have", invest in what you need at the moment. The Inspiron is most durable and cost effective out of current budget performance class, but if you could sacrifice portability, there're many more options such as the Dominator Pro.

@Sudhanshoo Saxena
Hi Sudhanshoo,
I will run Linux on this system, too. Looking at the CPU specifications, I expect this notebook to support virtualization:

  • VMWare Workstation requires 1.8 Ghz + 64-bit + 4 GB Ram. This one has this
  • Hyper-V requires SLAT (part of VT-X source:https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/virtualization-software-development/topic/283966). For VT-c I cannot be sure. However, assuming that this is Intel's latest series (not counting the 8th generation, which is not in the market yet) I would expect this notebook to run Hyper-V client virtualization. If you can get your hands on the notebook in a computer store, run
systeminfo
    [/li]
  • For Virtualbox, it mentions Reasonably powerful x86 hardware. Any recent Intel or AMD processor should do, so this notebook does this, too.
Hope this helps with your decision.
Cheers!

You have not mentioned any thing about virtualization. Does this laptop support virtualization? My requirement to install CentOS (Linux) in virtual environment with  VMWare or Virtual Box, does it Support that?
