Just checked the PWM on my unit..(MI air 13 6200U 940MX)
Im getting around 220hz at 40% brightness or below with my scope (Micsig STO1104C)
I reckon the 50hz is a typo, as even the testers own Rigol scope list above 200hz,.??
but I'm a noob so It can be me that is misunderstanding something.
but I do love that Notebookcheck is one of the few sources that test these things.., and it's great to have a source like this as a lookup table to see if one's measurement co'align.
all in all, great ultrabook laptop that has been working great over all these years... though the battery is like 25% left on health, but do have an new backup I purchased many years back... and it very easy to change... costed me around 550USD on the GB that is now gone, in early 2017 and for the price it was topnduge device... with PD 4K60out, great speakers, dual M.2 slots + NVMe.

Hello, I would like to buy the xiaomi version 2017 to edit photos mainly. The screen ips of 2016 seems very good and adapted for that, however I can not find information for the screen 2017. It seems that it is no longer the reference samsung of 2016. Then I would like to know if this screen ips (2017) is as good as this version of 2016, or even better?

Thank you in advance.

tw more run attached on crystalmark 5.1 on 32bit and 64.
it seems to continuesly deliver these massive higher speeds then around 300 to 350mb/s ballpark most of all the others Mi Air i5 6500U performs in when it comes to write speed. ???
the modelnumber of the NVMdrive figures from the diskmanager.

nothing is changed from it arrives yesterday, and still on Chinese language, still wondering if there is an easy approach to optain english or danish language on this license and not the hazzle with clean install and dump drivers for the time being..
Geekbench4 delivers 3450single and 6400 multi and 29.200 in compu with dGPU so all of those are inlign with the norm, its mainly the drive there are massively higher in speeds..

Damn, thats just sad to see that affiliate humping show from one after the other more tacky soul there spamming the comments..

gotta be some sad souls there operate on that level in the pursue for some easy affilliate coins on other peoples behalf without ewen stating it and numerous spamming (c'mon level up)

anyway thx for an thorough review, one of the best review i have seen on this model
and simply reviews over-all - the info and details are outstanding and so informative, topnudge and superb it is in english, I cant read german even thow we learn it in school, hence neigboor'country here in Denmark.
..
Have just got one Mi Air 13 myself, but i notice that the NVM drive in mine, are coming in a lot higher then here and other units and many times higer on write coould be that Xiaomi have put an better NVM drive. (its is still the old one i got, not the newer fingerprint edition)
on my i5 6200U 8GB 256GB 940mx air 13 im getting continuesly +1800mb in read and +1300 in write.

watch out! i can see heavy flickering up to 50% not 30%!!!
at 50% it stops totally but at 10% it's something incredible...i will never use brigthness lower that 40! simply try with your camera in live view, and look at the screen using at least shutter speed 1/200. This screen is awful in this regard!! I believed the 30% of this review! I would now return it after seeing this.

I'm a big fan of xiaomi and bought many products including the Notebook Air 13.3.
The Notebook is made for the Chinese market that's why it is much cheaper here in China.
I payed 666€ and need to say it's awesome for the price.
I upgraded my notebook with a second SSD (SAMSUNG CM871A M.2 NGFF 2280  256GB) and I bought an Type-C adapter with 2x USB 3.0 + Ethernet.

You are confusing things. You need a Hackintosh image that is UEFI - that's all. Actually MacOS installs itself as if it is UEFI on lehacy BIOS as well.

There is no such thing as AHCI mode BIOS , it is either legacy mode/regular BIOS or UEFI. There are no regular/legacy BIOS in any computer/motherboard produced in last 3 years - they are all UEFI. I have installed Hackintosh in both types.

AHCI mode refers to HDD/SSD s connected thru SATA ports - here the SSD is PCIe NVMe, so that does not apply as well.
