We've activated Optimus for power and runtime measurements.

The review mentions that you have to switch between G-sync and Optimus in the BIOS; was the battery test conducted with G-sync (and thus the N-vidia card on at all times) or with Optimus enabled?

Hi,

in typical games, the 4 GHz should be quite stable, assuming an environment temperature not to far above 20°C.

How does the 4ghz overclock perform under stress? Eg, when gaming or under the unrealistic stress test? Can it still maintain 4ghz? If not how far can it maintain given that it's said the stock all core at 3.2ghz could be maintained under unrealistic load already? Thank you for the review!

Gentle evolution. Schenker sends its new XMG P706 into the race with efficient Skylake processors, modern DDR 4 memory and other minor modifications. Compared with its precursor, the slim 17 incher has barely been touched otherwise - and that is a good thing.
