This review is awful for one reason. the driver version is 14.5! no duh you had issues with games, as the current catalyst 15.7 is driver version 15.20. thats more than outdated, thats obsolete. this machine runs much better when the driver isnt a year old!

Yeah, it's a disappointing GPU, looks like we'll have to wait till the next generation on 16nm to see what AMD can offer - AMD have offered a disappointment with this GPU - between 870M and 880M performance which are the old gen NVidia cards.

I just do not understand the continued stubbornness  and stupidity of PC manufactures of insisting on using outdated HDD instead of SSD now that prices are at the current low level! It is too bad that AMD GPU'S keep disappointing!

Comeback. The mobile high-end market is dominated by Intel and Nvidia. Alienware is one of the few manufacturer who offers GPUs from AMD as well. We ordered the 15-inch version of the notebook with the GTX-970M-rival Radeon R9 M295X to check out the performance.
