I experience Blue Screen of death frequently with my HP ENVY 17 NOTEBOOK PC + INTEL(R) core(TM) i7-5500U CPU@240GHz, 2401 mhz, 2 cores, 4 logical processors.
I will appreciate any assistance. I have tried all I could to troubleshoot the issues , I have reinstalled the windows, check for hardware errors, check hard disk for corruption etc, if some has passed through the issue before and you have resolved it. you assistance will be well appreciated

14.6V 2850mAh TPN-C129 laptop battery works very well in HP Envy 17(2015) Notebook, you may consider the replacement battery or OEM battery as the spare one for your precious laptop.

I am not too happy with this type of Laptop.  I seem to never know what kind of performance it's going to give me.  Most of the time it works well, but other times it's just terrible.  The Control Pad seems to make the mouse jump around all over the screen.  Tired to disable it, but didn't work.  Sometimes it takes a while for it to boot up or re-start.  This Laptop is a 750Gb Hard Drive and I don't even have anywhere near the memory usage.  Think I have more than 650gb left.  I don't play games on this at all.  It has no internal disk drive.  Had to go out and buy a seperate drive to load programs.  I'm hoping this will last as long as my previous system which was a Dell 3000.

Worst piece of junk I have ever ever ever bought in my life, the whole thing overheats all the time, and the graphics lock up stutter and cause all sorts of grief, in gaming it is virtually useless. The problem has been identified by people who have knowledge and have 'fixed' it, by removing the GPU and replacing the rubbish thermal paste with decent stuff. yet when you approach HP they do not even acknowledge there is a problem. extremelyshoddy work by HP, and they will never ever see another penny from me for their products. even if they reimbursed me all my money for the laptop, I still will never buy another HP. nice work on alienating all your potential customers and those who already are.

Hello
Can anybody inform us how many 2.5 inch sata bays are there in the HP-ENVY-NXXX which have the 6th generation processor core i7 6700HQ, besides the msata bay, does it have two bays for the 2.5 inch sata drives and one msata bay or soes it have one 2.5 inch sata drive bay and one msata bay
If it have only one 2.5 inch sata bay and one msata bay, the how HP offer to sell it with 4tb drive storage, that should mean two 2tb hard drives in two 2.5 inch sata bays, isnt it
Does that mean that all the gifigurable options for the storage whether it is 1tb, 2tb, 4tb,1tb+256GB flash SSD, or 512GB flash SSD came with the same architecture with two 2.5 inch sata bays and one msata bay, or they ship it with different architectures and motherboards
Anybody disassambled and find out

Allrounder. The HP Envy 17 wants to be your desktop replacement laptop. It has the right hardware, but what about the pricing?
