Technology is marching on. What was considered to be a good result some years ago often is only average, or even poor today, simply because other manufacturers demonstrated that better results are achievable within the same price bracket. The review rightly summarizes: "the laptop offers a good package" - but in many areas it was left behind by newer designs. There are overall better alternatives. The W230 series is old, the changes over the years were minimal, and in 2015 it show. I find the review to be balanced and informative.

you guys are being more and more disappointing!!..you comment negatively about this laptop's CPU heat, but you had many 15" and even 17" notebooks that hit same temperature and you havn't complained as much about it..i don't care and don't have this notebook, but what u do and how you do it or at least express it, it's a big let down..it seems to me that u used to me more objective in the past than you are now..

GPU Update. Schenker Technologies presents the XMG A305: the successor to the gaming dwarf, the XMG P304. Instead of a GTX 860M, the successor employs a GTX 960M, which promises more performance. In our review, we will check whether the cooling of the 13 inch gaming laptop can handle its new hardware.
