I don't think battery life really matters when talking about high-end laptops. Let me rephrase that - I don't think too many high-end laptop buyers care about it.

I am surprised that Acer is not using the Core i7-4712HQ in these laptops. I would expect using a lower TDP CPU would give the Nitro line a more competitive battery life.
