Angeblich plant Microsoft, Windows 9 als Nachfolger seines aktuellen Betriebssystems Windows 8 schon am 30. September 2014 vorzustellen. Geplant ist ein Special Event, auf dem Microsoft die neue OS-Version mit Codenamen Treshold ankündigen wird.
