Nvidia wird auf der gamescom 2014 in Köln auch den europäischen Startschuss für das neue Sield Tablet samt Zubehör geben. Ab dem 14. August kommt das Gaming-Tablet mit dem neuen Tegra K1 Quadcore-Prozessor in Deutschland im Handel.
