Just wondering there's a review about Xenia 14 got high marks too but didnt list in top 10 with better weight and screen. Believe that its pretty nice ultrabook too!

This list claims to be updated for 2017, but it misses some reasonable entrants like the Thinkpad X1 Carbon which NotebookCheck reviewed at 91% score, and according to the display check for the WQHD version, that one should score even better (better display, better battery life).

Interestingly, the Top 10 ultrabooks list does include the 2016 X1 Carbon, albeit without a touch screen, thus technically not really an ultrabook :)

Nice list but they are too expansive, i think a list of subnotebooks in the range 200-600 would be great!  8)

Thank goodness for these ratings.

I was going for the ThinkPad X260, but now I switched to the Macbook with the smartphone processor and the single port.

I think that you should have ignored the MacBook Air and considered the MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch instead. It is a solid subnotebook and it is worthy of recommendation.

Again you prove your lack of good faith by putting that castrated netbook at the highest spot just because of that Apple Logo

I really don't understand why the Macbook Air is compared with all these Laptops. The Air always was crap. I'd love to see how these laptops are rated against the Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch.

Everyone who is looking for a very good subnetbook will compare it against Apples system. It just weird that this casual notebook is seen as a benchmark for devices that even have a dedicated graphics card and really good/interesting specs.

I'm sure the XPS 13 wants to be a Macbook Pro competitor - not a "Macbook Air competitor".
