WOW..I'm really amazed not with the phone but for the review itself! it's very good and covers almost everything but it only missed the SAR value.
If you could mention the SAR value of G600 I would be really thankful :D

Even in "little old New Zealand" where technology tends to be more expensive than in countries with bigger populations (even Australia) the price is currently advertised, at one retailer, as NZD360, so it's likely that Huawei could have a mid-range phone with a good chance of being as successful as its cheaper G300 for those after "bang per buck" like me -- thanks for the excellent review!  It'd be better though to compare the phone like-for-like with similarly priced phones, unlike more expensive phones as you have done. In terms of NZ prices, its competitors are at least $100 more expensive.

Large display, low price. The Ascend G600 is a lower-end version of the D1 Quad XL. Both smartphones from Huawei feature a 4.5-inch IPS display - but while the the D1 Quad XL caters to the high-end market, the Ascent G600 is a mid-level phone. Does the difference in hardware translate into a vastly different user experience?
