That was a hell of an in depth review, ignore these brand fanboys; of both companies. Look beyond marketing and brands guys, come on... Price to performance seems to improved at apple lately...

This review certainly wasn't written by the poster above me, his grammar sucks.

Anyone who has said that the macbook air is expensive, clearly hasn't tried searching for an ultrabook that looks as nice as the air and has similar specs. Lenovo is putting theirs at around $1600 which is $400 more expensive than the apple equivalent.

The review did not identify the temperature as problematic under "everyday use", read the review.

macbook air is about as useful as a door wedge. woefully underpowered and expensive piece of junk.

notebookcheck is bias as hell just look at their reviews for pcs and they dock points left and right but when it comes to apple product they would briefly mention the problem but they quickly say that its no big deal. If you were to read a pc review they would knock on even the little of faults. IDK who writes these reviews but aside from the numbers the written reviews sucks.

Ivy Air. Sounds like an airline, but it is the newest generation of Apple's successful subnotebooks. We tested the entry-level model featuring a 13.3 inch screen and Intel's Core i5. Its exterior is - as always - (virtually) nothing new.
