Asus hat auf seiner globalen Webseite seine Ultrabook-S-Serie angekündigt. Die Ultrabooks Asus S46 und S56 kommen im 14"- respektive 15,6-Zoll-Format mit einer Bauhöhe von 21 Millimetern aus. Trotzdem findet in den schlanken Ultrabooks auch ein DVD-Laufwerk Platz.
