Während der D9 Konferenz demonstrierte Microsoft die nächste Generation von Windows, Codename "Windows 8". Im Zentrum steht eine zusätzliche Tile-basierte Oberfläche die das Startmenü ersetzen soll und voll Touch optimiert ist.
