Everyone who receives benefits from the government is robbing taxpayers. The more benefits and allowances, the more leftist lumens in the population and kleptocrats who feed on these flows, manipulating them to their benefit. Those receiving various benefits and privileges cease to perceive the cruel reality and take full responsibility for themselves and their family. And they stop fighting harshly with those who really lead to their problems in life. They are cleverly manipulated, because they are increasingly dependent on handouts from the authorities and big business. Their mentality is gradually corrupted into that of obedient slaves, and this corrupted parasitic mentality is passed on to their children. This is a vicious spiral leading to the degradation of any society. This is what we are seeing in all countries of the world right now.

When they say "60 billion dollars" (or whatever) they mean that exact amount. Maybe not mostly going to Ukraine but this is money going "somewhere". Maybe other countries need to support them and give us a little time to rebound from overloaded printing presses. How much does go to them, though (is it really zero).

Quote from: Casey on April 16, 2024, 20:47:05The tax credits are going to individuals. Those individuals just happen to be mostly buying Teslas.

For the billions of dollars we are sending the Ukraine, I have no issue with this spending.

Billions of dollars are not being sent to Ukraine. How does a blank check destroy tanks and aircraft?

The war aid is the value of weapons and equipment sent. And in reality they aren't even worth the value as they are old weapons nearing expiry.

Tax credits are directly a loss dollar for dollar. Totally different.

Tesla should be pushing hard to make its new Model 3 Highland eligible for federal subsidies. The US has spent close to $600 million on EV tax credits this year.
