While I don't quite recall the title of the job whose description covers ensuring product names sound correct across a wide variety of languages, I would imagine that such a process completed in earnest would reveal that "SU7" suggests that the vehicle is an SUV. This name shouldn't have made it past the internal design phase.

Xiaomi has revealed important details and specs of the SU7 (Max), with which the tech giant from China hopes to overtake the competition. The SU7 will also be on display at the MWC 2024.
