+21% efficiency per 1W vs 14700. AMD win.

Do you speak ISO WATTAGE? Put both at the same power limit, the 14700k flies past those amd heaters.

Quote from: NikoB on February 15, 2024, 10:50:33The latest efficiency histogram at 1W clearly shows who is king of the hill. AMD was and remains almost 2 times better in efficiency.

Im very confident that the 14700k is a lot (and I mean, a LOT) more efficient than it's price competitors, the 7800x 3d and the 7900x. Put them all at the same power and run the tests, the 14700k will fly past the 7800x 3d.

e can already say for sure that the corporate environment and culture of Intel are completely rotten, just like Boeing - there is no longer room for creative people and real engineers. The fall of the colossi, how revealing...

Intel has once again disgraced itself. For so many years, being unable to make technical processes comparable to TSMC and having access to the most advanced ASML scanners, just like TSMC.

In fact, for more than 3 years after returning to Intel, Gelsinger could not do anything at the processor production level.

This is a complete fiasco for Intel as a leader in processors. It survives only due to the fact that it has a market share of more than 70% in the x86 market. All that remains is to wait for the memorial service for Intel...

The Core i7-14700K stands out in the Intel 14th gen Raptor Lake-S Refresh lineup with 20 cores and 28 threads. While the Core i7-14700K comes very close to the pricier Core i9-13900K, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, and the Ryzen 9 7950X3D in overall CPU performance, things aren't as straightforward in gaming.
