Thunderbolt 5 is technically supported by the Raptor Lake-R HX mobile processors launched at CES 2024, but it's probably going to be a while before seeing affordable laptops with such connectors. On desktop, TB5 could make its debut in late 2024 with high-end Arrow Lake-S motherboards. For the masses, though, TB5 would most likely be available at reasonable prices by 2025.
