He's never come off that way to me....I think he's about as straight a shooter as they come. He doesn't promote AMD, he promoted bang for the buck. Whenever Nvidia is better bang for the buck.... That's what he recommends and he has made Nvidia recommendations.

The 7800xt really is a good value alternative at 499 and it's 16gb of ram. If you MUST have Nvidia it's cool and I get it but you gotta pay that Nvidia tax.

Since there isn't a supply constraint, anyone waiting until 2024 for a 4000 series card are probably looking for either performance or value. If one is ok with 4070 Super's performance, he would have purchased a 4070 last year. No reason waiting this long, paying the same price for about 10% gain in performance.

For me, this is more like a $499 card. If Nvidia isn't so greedy, they should have included 16GB but we all know they screwed their own fans for profit...

NVIDIA newly-released RTX 4070 SUPER may not be having the reception that Team Green might have hoped for as a report out of Moore's Law Is Dead suggests bad launch day sales. Quoting multiple retail, AIB, and scalper sources, the leaker alleges the RTX 4070 SUPER sales to be potentially lower than the RTX 4080 which also had a rough Day 1 per the leaker's past claims.
