I do have to ask, however, if the arrow keys are as wobbly as ever?

Nice, they went 16:10!

Gone are the teaser 16:9 16" panels of the previous generation which diluted the otherwise-nearly-entirely-16:10 product space for the size. A 16" diagonal now that much more reliably indicates that a laptop is 16:10.

Finally, a decent display, at FHD,

Not 550 plus  nits and only full sRGB

But at least 400 nits, short response time, 100$ sRGB

Better than most competitors...

Alongside the Omen Transcend 14, HP is also offering a refreshed Omen Transcend 16 with Intel Raptor Lake-HX Refresh processors including the Core i7-14700HX and Core i9-14900HX. This year's Omen Transcend 16 drops the mini-LED option and instead offers a QHD+ 240 Hz OLED as the top configuration.
