Why does this matter? The guy is a billionaire, regardless of whether or not EGS is a success is not relevant. I'm sure he'll be just fine no matter what happens.

As for the comparisons vs Steam (or any digital video game distribution service), they're are all DRM infested pieces of bloatware junk as bad as each other (besides maybe GOG?) and the fact we've multiple game launchers on pc to begin with is a joke too. So I'm not sure saying X is better than Y is setting a very high bar.

This is like someone b-word'ing how bad/overpriced a microtransaction is and how another similar microtransaction is slightly better while generating more revenue as well. Okay, lol?
