Did you connect an external monitor to the G1 using its HDMI or DP ports? This unit performs a lot better if you connect the monitor to the G1 rather than to the PC. A LOT better!
Despite the lack of a dedicated ethernet port, is it still possible to connect to ethernet via an ethernet-to-USB adapter, using one of the USB-A ports at the back? If anyone has tried: does it work well / affect the bandwidth when the G1 is connected to the computer via a thunderbolt cable?
