The article is not written in an objective language. It is so easy to know the author's side. More than that, there are mistakes, exagerations and omissions which always tend in the same direction. I even wonder whether this is a negative ad.

Well, right out the gate your article is debunked bc the 500 miles of range was quoted for the Tri-motor version that they aren't even building yet but nice try.

Apparently they are pushing ahead with the car Homer Simpson designed after all. Who'd have thought.

Quote from: Butch on November 29, 2023, 12:32:07I will wait for the REAL stats in 24 hours. My 76 KW battery takes me 357 miles. 123 kilowatts is an extra 47 KW. You apparently can NOT add. That is 61.842% MORE battery. That is 220 mile added to the 357 for a grand total of 577 miles. Basic math, and you come up with a grand total of 260? You are WAY off and you know it.  1 lie among many truths still make the article a lie. Stop writing articles for likes and clicks. Pure F.U.D.

Your model 3 or whatever that has a small 76kW battery is a smaller, lighter, more aerodynamic CAR not a 7,000 pound, angular/boxy, Truck - apparently someone skipped physics in high school...

A Tesla manager at a San Diego showroom has confirmed that the Cybertruck on show in his facility has a battery capacity of 123 kWh. Previous reports claimed a range of around 267 miles, falling woefully short of the promised 500-mile range. Based on the competition, 267–300 miles seems about right for that sort of battery capacity.
