TSMC's N3 and N3E aren't that much more performance than N4. Search for an article like "tsmc details n4x extreme performance at minimum-leakage"

They should have pushed to release the 2400 on 3nm. That would have give them an edge.

When they release their first 3nm chip, Apple will be already on their second-generation 3nm; and potentially TSMC would have joint to the party as well.

Samsung LSI is still catching up with TSMC, and even with the GAA, I don't expect them to get any better the 3nm TSCM.

The President of Samsung LSI has confirmed the 2025-bound Exynos 2500 will be manufactured on Samsung's 3 nm node (likely 3GAP). It will be the first smartphone AP to be manufactured on Samsung's gate-all-around process, potentially giving it an edge over the competitors.
