Please help to add Cinebench2024 & Geekbench6 benchmark test, it will be good for latest CPU.
(Cinebench2024 need 10mins test lead-time , it could know laptop thermal capacity design)

I agree with everyone here the author should be fired, demoted, or quit taking drugs before writing up their headlines and summary. LOL!

1 - As noted, PWM screen flickering of 50 Hz should prevents this laptop from being recommended and HP should be ashamed they put a consumer laptop with it out on the market.
2 - The multi-threaded performance of the laptop with the Intel i7-1355U in CBR15 under extended thermals is 56% (1030/1834) of either the 5825U (2+ year old processor) or the 6800U in the AMD equivalent laptop. Almost half! Literally.
3 - The notebooks the author is comparing have comparable wi-fi lifetimes although the AMD laptop with the 5825U has slightly smaller battery. But who cares since they essentially the same weight, size, and run times? Isn't that a tie? The R7-7730U seems to have a driver issue preventing longer wi-fi run times.

Quote from: Andrea on October 09, 2023, 11:40:47So an Intel CPU released in 2023 offers better performance and battery life than an AMD CPU from 2022 year, based on 2021 tech? Wow, who would have guessed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 2021 was also the year HP was plummeted from #1 PC seller to Lenovo?
HP was always an Intel concubine, always giving inferior specs to the AMD counterpart in the same line, in this case Envy - their upper midrange line. Still no Zen4 options for this line and they rehashed that same Apu 3 times!
The screen in the review is within the limits of it being the same as the AMD so you can't call it better,
but that Pwm display with horrendous refresh rate!? NBC, this should have gotten a much lower rating. How can you justify a panel being sold to anyone, whether they feel the effect same time or not, they will in the long run. You should call out manufacturers on using dangerous unnecessary tech just to save a few cents.

The author lies right in the title, everything is exactly the opposite:

Screens flicker at 50Hz should be prohibited to be sold to customers.

After our review of the HP Envy x360 15 2023 with AMD processor, we now also have the Intel version of the convertible as a test device. Apart from the processor, the devices are almost identical, so the Intel variant also has the OLED display and the high-quality chassis. Due to the similarity, the devices are well suited for an AMD vs. Intel comparison.
