AMD doesn't care that they again began to rapidly lose market share in laptops and a little more slowly in desktop processors - they don't care about both markets, they are no longer interesting to them - their goal is set-top boxes, server chips and accelerators for neural networks.

So AMD is increasingly turning into a paper chipmaker in the SoC market for laptops and desktop processors. They seem to exist, but the retail ratio is more than 5:1 in favor of Intel and it is getting worse in favor of Intel. Moreover, it is very clear that for some reason (corruption in the form of kickbacks from Intel or simply the inability to buy enough batches of SoC from AMD for production at a reasonable price) laptop manufacturers do not make similar models as Intel's Zen4 Phoenix. They simply aren't there at all, even in the series catalogues.

For example, Asus sells the 18" series (16:10, but, as if on purpose, to spite customers, mocking them, with a damaged numpad - right arrow in place of insert) exclusively with hot and slow Intel, but with TB4/USB40. And 17.3"(but with ugly 16:9 and without USB40, but with a classic numpad, but with narrowed buttons) only with AMD. The buyer does not have a choice of reference series, especially on different platforms. Although it's obvious - why not release 18" 4k@120Hz with a contrast of 1500:1+ on Zen4 or Zen4 Phoenix with classical keyboard with classical numpad? But no, there is no such option.... And this can be continued further for other manufacturers.

The world is increasingly turning into an absurd one, where marketers and the herds of sheep they lead rule, and not the demand of people, especially the productive layer...

The desktop market has long been in oblivion. It is now of interest only to professionals and avid players.

Meanwhile, the 7600M was launched in January, and 10 months later it's still nowhere to be seen.
