SD card speed not correct, when I plug SD7.0 card the write speed can reach to 600MB/s at least.

Hello... As usual, a very good review.
I have a question. Is the 120Hz screen, AUO87A8, the famous DreamColor screen? Does it support 10-bit color depth? Does it display HDR, HDR+? This seems obvious, but can you check it? Thank you.

I can't believe this laptop has a long term power limit of 48W.

It's impossible, it would be far below the Fury G9 and its competitors (~70-85W).

I would bet there is something wrong with this unit.

Quote5. Despite the extremely throttled processor of up to 48W in the PL1, the laptop is unpleasantly noisy under medium load and howls even during light surfing, according to the review. At 48W, the buyer has the right to expect from this price no more than 32-33dBA at average load and complete silence when surfing in the maximum performance profile. Exactly.

I guess it is for aesthetics reasons that "slick" workstations do not comparable intakes and vents as "gaming" laptops. Their users suffer because of that.

Finally, 4k@120Hz + an almost normal keyboard (HP again made a mess by narrowing the height of the Esc, F1..F12 row).
Now the disadvantages:
1. Screen response time could be better. 12ms on G2G is too much, i.e. This is not real 120Hz, but thanks for that. The contrast is rather weak, only 1100:1, at this price you would expect 1500:1+. And also for the professional series, especially at this price, the lack of 95%+ AdobeRGB coverage is bad manners. The laptop is not suitable for photo editing. DCI-P3 is only good for video processing, but as we see below...
2. For some reason, the Intel processor here is an extremely weak 13950HX, and not the top-end 13980HX, and especially not the 7945HX - which is 30% more energy efficient with greater performance. Taking into account the price, the buyer has the right to wait only for the last 2 options.
3. RAM is not enough for such a price - 4 slots - which means they could have supplied 128GB from the factory, this is just the maximum for Intel 4 slots and close the topic. Although the fact that there are 2x32 makes it easy to increase them to 128GB. As well as a twice as large SSD (and even 4TB wouldn't go bankrupt) - just in RAID10 it would be 4TBx4 (if 4 double-sided ones fit in there, although without radiators half will throttle, which is bad - it seems like there is free space on the right - why not there brought out 2 more M.2 with radiators?).
4. Disgusting ram tuning - it works -30-32% worse than it should with ideal efficiency for ddr5 5600. We have already seen that other manufacturers are capable of providing tuning with pumping more than 75GB/s. The latency is also too high.
5. Exactly.
7. RJ45 cable is absolutely shameful in terms of speed - at this price, the buyer has the right to expect at least 5 Gbps out of the box, and preferably 10. I wonder how the owner of a laptop for such a price will look at the pitiful 110 Mb/s when sharing with his own NAS? Looking sadly at the extremely slow data backup from the SSD. Again, all this forces you to buy an expensive TB4 docking station/hub and carry it with you all the time.
8. The location of the ports, especially RJ45, could have been better. For example, in the back, like the power supply, although there are no complaints about the power plug. 2 x TB4 must be arranged symmetrically on the left and right.
9. The webcam again does not produce 60fps. They didn't write anything about autofocus - is it there? And even with a 4k screen, I would like a 4k webcam for this price.
10. Well, they already wrote about the slow card reader.
11. High latency means damp and crooked drivers. Again, a laptop without some severe optimizations is not suitable out of the box for working with real-time applications. Even banal sound playback can become a problem for the owner...

The main part of the price will be eaten up by the professional video card. It's up to those who urgently need all this to decide, but the price is clearly too high, taking into account the hardware installed from the factory, by about $1000-$1300 exactly.

The 985 MB/s SD Express 7.1 card reader will run UHS 2&3 cards at the speed of UHS1, because it's not backward compatible with this standards. All the 200-600 MB/s cards will run ~104 MB/s or less.

Not much has changed from the outside, but the Raptor Lake-HX and Nvidia RTX Ada upgrades inside are significant and well worth the time for any power users looking to upgrade in the near future.
