Any person who actually went to school and received a genuine certificate of maturity after leaving school should know that mathematically 2560x is closer to 3000 than to 2000(2k). But a bunch of uneducated people around the world violate the laws of mathematics, pretending that they are smarter and they know better how to write correctly; in their alternative reality, they are sure that 2560 is closer to 2000 than to 3000. And the stupid herd repeats after them. And they also aggressively attacks on all forums those who deny this obvious mathematical nonsense that 2560 = 2k.

Intriguing device. However, please remember that 2560x1600 is 2.5K, not 2K! The best use of these articles is to call out marketing misnomers, rather than forward them at face value.
