Unfortunately all of intel 11th, 12th and 13th gen CPUs are too power hungry for laptops. The 13th gen specially is worse, as they added more 'e' cores to boost performance, all at the cost of heat and battery life. These are essentially a desktop CPU, chocked up in a laptop with limited cooling.

Does the oled screen on this look better than the Zenbook 14 pro? From pictures and videos it seems like the Zenbook 14 pro has an anti glare layer which has a green tint to it which makes it look off in pics/videos. Is this the case in person or is that just my imagination? Thanks.

Had a lower res display and no Thunderbolt, as it was an AMD one but I've absolutely no problems living with these tradeoffs and it has the RTX 3050 Ti and quite a powerful 8 Core 5825U considering it has a 15-25W TDP.
UFFF I am waiting for the ACER swift edge 16 (sfe16-43) with: Wiifi 7 + Ryzen 7 7840U Phoenix + RDNA 3 + USB 4 + HDMI 2.1 + DDR5 +OLED at 120hz very few laptops have such a high frequency + Artificial Intelligence.

Acer has just made the mistake that all the OEMs are making an intel 13gen in 13"-14"-15" intel manufactured at 10nm vs AMD at 4nm which causes deterioration of the processor due to overheating and performance drop to that you add the constant noise from the fan in daily use and that is when you realize the big mistake.
ACER goes very well with acer swift edge 16 (sfe16-43) with: Wiifi 7 + Ryzen 7 7840U Phoenix + RDNA 3 + USB 4 + HDMI 2.1 + DDR5 +OLED at 120hz very few laptops have such a high frequency + Artificial intelligence.

I'm looking for a decent thin laptop with a dgpu, good performance, and especially, good battery life. Seeing as this one is clearly not it, what would you suggest? My budget is around 1000-1300 usd. I was looking at the Zephyrus g14 from 2022, with the 6700s model being around 1200, but that's marketed as a gaming laptop.

Acer have updated their Swift X 14 - this time giving the multimedia laptop a fresh new case, a new OLED panel as well as new components from Intel and Nvidia. Unfortunately, the total package of this $1,400 device seems to only impress on paper and next to its relatively short battery life in everyday use, the laptop's cooling system also proves to cause some issues.
