There are 4 months left before the announcement of Zen4+/MeteorLake...however, this will again be a "paper" launch, because they will be available no earlier than the end of winter 2024... =)

AMD did a fake launch earlier this year and now it's launching for real (I hope)!!!

Asus is always the first to receive new AMD processors in bulk lots. The rest will come later...

I'm confused... Is this a re-announcement from over a year ago of the same products? What's the point? Oh, I think it's to try to wake up those buyers that were waiting for their products but bought Intel instead (I was one of them).

Some people already received their PCs with 7940HS... and they are presenting now? Interesting.

Hopefully availability isn't an issue and they can put these in computers without many constraints.

The UM790 Pro looks extremely promising, especially with custom RAM/SSD (better than the ones included by Minisforum).

AMD has announced three new Zen 4-based Phoenix processors for thin and light laptops. The Ryzen 9 7940HS, Ryzen 7 7840HS, and Ryzen 5 7650HS will power a wide range of products from Asus, Razer, HP and Acer later this year.
