Their Quest Pro is getting a similar treatment. It also has eye tracking, and better displays than the Quest 3, aside from resolution.  They are also releasing a depth sensor for the older model's front-left USB port as their current push for AR requires it, though the Quest 2 and Pro will not have the same pass-through image quality as the new Quest 3.

Meta continues to offer improvements to the Quest 2, even after announcing the Quest 3. Later this year, the company will introduce a major upgrade for its three-year-old VR headset, along with a price cut to position the Quest 2 as a cheaper alternative to the new Quest 3.
