The maths on supercharging here is downright misleading.

Nobody is charging to 100%, not only is it bad for the battery, it takes forever to do that last 20%. And that's the maths you've used.

Model 3's rock up to a v3 supercharger and are only there 25 minutes maximum, and they're off again with 80% battery and 250+ miles of range.

At those speeds across 2 superchargers you should get 140 charges a day. Not 40. And that's worse case scenario. A lot of people only top up needed to get where they're going for 5-10 minutes. Putting the charges per day easily over 200.

Really disappointing article

NIO and Shell have opened Europe's first EV battery swap station in the Netherlands. The battery swap station is capable of performing 312 swaps per day despite only taking up the same space as a double garage. In contrast, Tesla Superchargers taking up the same area can charge around 40 vehicles in 24 hours.
