Yes indeed we need more RAM. AMD trolled Nvidia that gives not too much VRAM, and now it does the same thing.

No, it's not the VRAM. It's the ridiculous prices. A mid-range can't be more than 300€. As simple as that. Let alone 600-1000€.

Indeed and the same is valid for laptops that Nvidia VRAM discriminates. I guess my 3 year update period will have to be extended.

According to a recent report by 3DCenter, consumers are seemingly moving away from buying GPUs with 8 GB RAM as users are apparently choosing cards with more than 8 GB of memory. 3DCenter's analysis is based on the sales data collected by TechEpiphany from German retailer MindFactory.
