So already the original claims buy many leakers that we would see 20%+ IPC for both ML and ArL are already debunked. This is quite pathetic. Only hope for Meteor Lake is massive efficiency gains over RL Becuase 6P cores will get stomped by 8P cores. Now if say a 14700H was within 10% of 13700H but used 30-40% less power it would be of interest. It appears AMD has failed again with Phoenix delivering underwhelming efficiency, so door is open for Intel.

I love the "125W LOL like that matters"

It's so true and so sad.
If Intel manages +20% IPC uplift with a +30% power consumption, that's juste lame.

Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake CPUs are expected to share the "15th gen" moniker as the former will allegedly only target the mainstream Core i5 buyers while the enthusiasts will be served by the latter. According to a recent leak from RedGamingTech, the P-cores on Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake CPUs will bring a single-digit and up to 20% IPC gain vs Intel Raptor Lake respectively.
