Again further confirmation that the upper mid-range class is being blurred with the budget level (Like in real life the middle class being eradicated). Abysmal screen, soldered 16GB RAM (So much space in there to place at least one slot), crippled hdmi port, now no dedicated GPU (Forget about AMD's 7000U series' 700m igpu)
A refresher for those over in Europe, the Yoga moniker is only for the convertible laptop line not including the clam-shell, traditional laptop style. So Lenovo's 2in1 line:

Budget/Entry level - Flex 5 (One that tip-toes into the mid-range category, the flex 7)
Mainstream/mid-range - Yoga 6
Premium/Upper mid-range - Yoga 7
High-end - Yoga 9

Unacceptable screen for a device that should be able to go to many places with different illumination.
Only 2242 drives is also bad.  I like the design, the 16:10.

Well, shitty screens got to Yoga. Amen.

Noisy, embarrassingly slow. Ridiculous 16GB (however, this is not important, because it is already obsolete in terms of processor for 2 years). Pointless model. Under the bulldorzer

I wonder how much extra it would have cost to the end-user if they would have shelled for a higher-sRGB panel. Especially considering they're already going through the 'effort' of bonding it to a custom touch glass layer.

Good to see them sticking to 16:10 in any case.

Most convertible laptops tend to be small to better accommodate tablet mode. However, some users may still prefer a larger touchscreen even if it means a heavier system. The 16-inch Lenovo Yoga 7 16 fulfills that niche quite well and at an affordable price, too.
