QuoteThe slim case is also a great feature

For me slim means very hot.  I don't have any problem with my current not slim Legion. It fits in same backpack as a slim one.

Not for me as I have no use for a 16:9 display. With 16:10, I would consider it.

This is an impressive review of the Aorus 17X AZF gaming laptop, showcasing its high-end specs and slim design. The i9-13900HX and RTX 4090 graphics card make for an extremely powerful machine capable of handling even the most demanding games and applications. The slim case is also a great feature, making it easy to transport for gaming on the go. The review provides a thorough breakdown of the laptop's performance, design, and features, making it a valuable resource for anyone considering purchasing this model. Overall, the Aorus 17X AZF seems like an excellent choice for serious gamers or professionals in need of a high-performance laptop.

Your Verdict has a typo.  "The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU offers an enormous amount of performance and is able to maintain this permanently. This is flanked by a powerful Intel Core-i7-13900HX."

Should be i9, not i7.

I also agree that review percentages are too high.  86% sounds pretty good to me, a B+.  While an 89% is also a B+, bt could be wildly better.  I think it is time to create a review rating that better helps your readers.  Maybe call it version 2.0, so you don't have to redo old reviews.  And give a rough conversion chart that you can link to.

Bad sound, bad fan noise, bad case temps,
bad latency spikes, bad performance relative to other models with its very expensive hardware.  86%? How badly does a model have to do to get a rating that accurately reflects it?

You should be holding these high end models to a higher standard, considering their high price, your "fast enough is good enough", "not noticeable in daily life" attitude in the conclusion is misplaced in this class of product. Please think more about your readers, the potential buyers of these products, and less about giving everything a high score and a round of applause just for existing

Thanks for feedback MrRuckus.
This class of devices need to offer option of lesser CPU's. 13900HX is too much of a processor for this chassis cooling.

I have this laptop, but with the i9-13950HX & 4090.  Its replacing a MSI GE76 Raider with a 2080 Super.  The laptop excels in everything over the Raider, except for internal speakers and Bios/GCC limitations.  GCC is VERY basic and no where on par with Asus/MSI/Alienware offerings for a Command Center like app.
Updating the Bios was a HORRIBLE experience in my case, which Im only applying because overclocking/undervolting is currently "disabled" on an HX processer (in Intel XTU).  Supposedly they are looking into fixing that, along with degraded performance when choosing the performance mode in GCC.  I have been building PC's for over 20 years and never had the Bios upgrading experience with this laptop of multiple black screens upon reboot before it was fully completed with no indication to the end user what is happening and when it needed to be rebooted.  Thinking I had bricked a brand new laptop was nerve racking (did this twice with 2 different revisions).  Sound as said is like from a cheap laptop from 2005.  Very tinny and no depth.  The GE76 Raider it replaced had great sound.  Overall I am content with this laptop, but would think twice next time simply due to the immature software suite compared to others.  Be careful with removing the bottom.  Its hard/brittle plastic.  I broke one of the triangular bars covering the heatsink exhaust when removing the bottom cover, it just snapped.  It pressed back into place but its still broke.  But you cant tell at a glance.
