Now another one: Does Razer's plug into any other gaming notebook?😅

Lenovo uses an almost identical charger for this year's 7 series with the 4080/90. The 4070 and 5 series get the older 300w charger.  Neither one has replaceable tips. There is a universal gan charger available, but it is quite pricey. It's made by slimq
Interesting, universal as in...removable cable with proprietary plugs?

Lenovo introduced a 330w GaN charger as well with the 7 series this year. Their 300w charger the last 2 years was comparatively small as well against the rest of the industry, but was huge compared to the 230w chargers they had previously offered.

Quote from: Anonyneko on April 04, 2023, 13:01:45Like on most other laptop chargers the wire is not removable on the Razer ones. The port is also of course proprietary so you cannot use it with other laptops either.
They used to have those round plugs, at least there's a finite set of sizes for those, I don't get why they've gotten further fragmented in this age.

It s strange they deliver such a heavy charger for alienware in USA but in europe we got the small form factor charger

Are the wires removable on both sides? So annoying where you have to replace the entire brick or do soldering work if your adapter tip gets damaged or wire ripped.

Wish I could say the same for my Asus G15 AE, that brick is a deadly weapon and weighs a ton.

The 330 W power brick that ships with the Blade 16 and Blade 18 is almost 60 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than the 330 W adapters from Asus, Dell, MSI, and others.
