$3000 is not impressive. The laptop "4090" is a 4080 without $100 giant cooler and power circuitry. nvidia can make real killing even if they decide to sell it @$700. honestly the rest of the laptop is not worth more than $1200

these silly $4000-5500 desktop replacements can be sold at half the price next year sales while still making money.

Pfft.
They still force you to buy super expensive unnecessary CPU's for most situations. They continue to be too expensive.

The catch is that you'll have to supply your own SSD, HDD, and operating system as these will ship as barebones systems. The Mech-16 GP and Mech-17 GP2 share the same chassis designs as the Schenker XMG Neo 16 E23 and Neo 17 E23, respectively.
