Got a source for that? Sony support has said on both product's Best Buy pages that they will not receive LE updates. To my knowledge, only the linkbuds S are getting LE.

Some audio products may support or be capable of supporting Bluetooth LE Audio, but the feature has not made its way to any Android smartphones yet. Reputedly, the first smartphones launching with Bluetooth LE Audio and Bluetooth LC3 will be the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 V.
