you mean RTX 4060 mobile is slower than RTX 3070 Ti mobile by 27 % , what a ridiculous article , RTX 4060 laptop is even slower than 3070 laptop , you're ignorant

Quote from: LL on February 15, 2023, 01:25:47Worse 4090 improved more than 100% over 3090 in several cases.

4080: Actually I like the choice for 320W. A 4080TI may offer specs and speed closer to 4090 at higher TDP.

4070TI: I also like its 285W TDP and recall that TDPs are interpreted towards lower consumption than for Ampere. Slightly better specs at then 320W would have been possible, too.

4070: As to TDP, rumoured, 200 ~ 220W, the card will be fine. As to spec, it should have more CUDA etc. However, then TDP would be higher.

Compared to Ampere, the 4070 ~ 4080 specs and TDPs are ok. Compared to 4090, their specs are a possible among the reasonable choices despite the relative gaps to the 4090. However, we must not forget that the 4090 also has excessively high TDP, 450W.

The problems, other than price and power adapter, really start with 4060 and lower and 4070 Laptop and lower. They look under-specified to milk endconsumers and leave scope for RTX 5000.

Misleading headline like said by first poster.

Worse 4090 improved more than 100% over 3090 in several cases.

In this mediocre card we have less CUDA cortes than 3060. When it is also the number of CUDA cores that helps efficiency.

Please note that 30 series were released 2 years ago. So for 2 years the new generation reaches its one upper tier of the last generation. That's expected.

Lol, this has to be one of the most ridiculous articles I have ever seen.

I wouldn't normally comment but a laptop 4060 beating a last generation laptop 3060 by 25% woahhhh that's impressive.

How much are they paying you?

C'mon, that's not impressive for a next-gen card. Clickbait headlines may get you more clicks, but it's going to hurt the credibility of your brand long-term.

Did I get it right that a 140W 4060 RTX performs similar to a 130W 3070 Ti RTX model? And that's supposed to be "impressive"?

I'm sorry, why are you comparing it with the median value for 3060 which includes low power variants when this 4060 is specified to be 140w? Compare with the 130w and 140w 3060 variants which can break 9000 in timespy graphics.

The RTX 4060 laptop GPU is set to appear later this month. Based on the AD107 "Lovelace" GPU, the card packs 3,072 CUDA cores, 8 GB of VRAM, a 128-bit memory bus, and a TGP of up to 115 W. Although Nvidia has yet to lift the embargo on the RTX 4060, a Chinese reviewer going by the name of "Zhongzheng Evaluations" has already put the GPU through its paces.
