Iridium hat eine neue Generation seines Iridium-Go-Routers für Satelliten-Konnektivität vorgestellt. Die Geschwindigkeit soll sich um den Faktor 40 verbessert haben. Im Vergleich zu terrestrischem Mobilfunk ist das aber immer noch langsam.
