They need to stop doing this crap where they artificially inflict SSD size limits on certain models for no apparent reason. I got an f-15 from 2 years ago that'll support an eight terabyte SSD, but when I bought the new model, was horrified to discover they'd put in artificial limitations so that it can't recognize a drive larger than one terabyte in BIOS.
There is absolutely NO justification for this. Especially considering I had to spend 10 minutes on the phone with an idiot that didn't know what he was doing before he found the internal only documentation about the one terabyte limit. When I told them my drive wasn't detected in BIOS he asked me if I had partitioned it in Windows. What moron in tech support wouldn't know that if bios doesn't detect the drive, Windows will be incapable of seeing it?

Oh, and of course lower CPU and GPU limits or power targets configurable in UEFI or software are also missing! Not to mention noise values.

Although better than nothing, the following information is missing in the list:

- Asus devices other than ROG and TUF,
- the TDPs of the CPU, i.e., PL1, PL2 and maximum CPU-only TDP,
- the maximum combined TDP of CPU and GPU.

It's tough to keep track of all the gaming laptops coming out this February with GeForce 40 graphics and Intel 13th gen CPUs. At least one manufacturer has made a handy table detailing all of their upcoming models and even their TGP and MUX options.
